How It Works
Enter two names and the calculator produces a compatibility percentage using a deterministic hashing algorithm. The same two names will always produce the same result — which is either reassuring or deeply unsettling depending on your outcome. The percentage maps to a category ranging from 'Just friends' to 'Soulmates.' The algorithm is reproducible. The romance is on you.
The Formula
Deterministic hash of combined names mapped to 0-100%. Results are reproducible, which is the only scientific thing about this.
When to Use This
Use this when you need a conversation starter, when you're procrastinating, or when you want to find out if your name paired with your celebrity crush produces a satisfying number. It is not useful for actual relationship decisions. It is extremely useful for settling arguments with friends about who is most compatible with whom.
