By using CalculatorMate, you agree to these terms. That's it — no clickwrap, no 47-page PDF, no signature in blood. If you don't agree with any of this, you're free to not use the site. We hope you'll stay, though.

CalculatorMate is a free collection of online calculators covering finance, health, math, unit conversions, and various things of questionable productivity value (we're looking at you, Lost Socks Calculator).

The calculators are provided for informational and estimation purposes only. They are tools to help you think through numbers — not authoritative sources, not certified systems, not magic.

No account is required to use any calculator. If an account system exists on this site, it's for things like saving results or accessing personalized features — not a prerequisite for getting math done.

We'll be direct: nothing on CalculatorMate is a substitute for professional advice.

• Financial calculators (mortgage, retirement, compound interest): talk to a licensed financial advisor before making major money decisions.
• Health calculators (BMI, body fat, calorie needs): your doctor knows more about your body than our formula does. Full stop.
• Homeowner calculators (closing costs, property tax): these are estimates. A real estate lawyer and your local municipality have the actual numbers.

Think of our calculators as a smart napkin — useful for orientation, not for final decisions. Use them to get your bearings, then consult someone who went to school for the thing you're deciding.

We care deeply about accuracy. We test our formulas, we use established mathematical methods, and we update things when errors are found.

That said: CalculatorMate's calculators are provided "as is," without warranty of any kind — express or implied. We make no guarantee that every result is error-free, current, or applicable to your specific situation. Exchange rates shift. Tax laws change. Bodies are complicated.

Always verify important numbers independently before acting on them. If a result looks wrong, it might be — please let us know and we'll look into it.

CalculatorMate is not liable for any decisions you make based on calculator results — financial, health, safety, legal, or otherwise.

If you use our mortgage calculator and buy a house, we're rooting for you. If it doesn't work out, we're genuinely sorry — but we're a calculator site, not a co-signer. The math was a guide, the decision was yours.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CalculatorMate's liability for any claim arising from use of this site is limited to the amount you paid us. (Which is zero. So this is mostly philosophical.)

CalculatorMate is a free tool. Please don't break it, abuse it, or weaponize it. Specifically, you agree not to:

• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or interfere with the site's infrastructure
• Scrape or harvest site content in bulk for commercial redistribution
• Use the site for any unlawful purpose
• Introduce malware, bots, or automated scripts designed to harm the service

Using the site normally — running calculations, sharing links, bookmarking your favourite tools — is exactly what it's here for. Go nuts.

The content, design, copy, and calculators on CalculatorMate are owned by CalculatorMate. You're welcome to use the tools for personal purposes to your heart's content.

What you may not do: republish, resell, copy, or redistribute CalculatorMate's underlying content, formulas, or design as your own product or service — without written permission.

Linking to the site, sharing results, and citing a calculator in a blog post? All good. Spinning up a clone and charging people for it? Please don't.

These terms may be updated from time to time as the site grows or as the legal landscape requires. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent revision.

We won't bury changes in fine print. Significant updates will be noted clearly. Continuing to use the site after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from use of this site will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of British Columbia.

(We genuinely hope it never comes to that. We're a calculator site.)
